Established in 1972, Gambaro is the oldest established restaurant in Brisbane and a benchmark in fine dining.

As the winner of 6 American Express Gold Plate Awards and Hall of Fame entrant in 1993, Gambaro is world renowned for its succulent seafood.

Located on Caxton Street, Petrie Terrace, Brisbane, Gambaro Restaurant offers friendly and efficient service, set in relaxing, elegant and traditional surrounds.

Fully licensed and featuring an extensive wine list, the restaurant itself comfortably seats 200 people, while two function rooms located above the restaurant cater for small to large functions, weddings, corporate gatherings or any other special occasion, up to 300 people.

Gambaro’s menu boasts some of the finest seafood delicacies in the world, including the mouth-watering Mud Crab, Green Lobster from the tank, barbecued Moreton Bay Bugs and the specialty of the house - the Gambaros Seafood Platter, featuring an array of fresh local seafood served with the famous Gambaro seafood sauce.
 
While seafood is our specialty, the a la carte menu also offers a range of quality meats, poultry and authentic pasta dishes, ensuring something to satisfy all tastes.

Wine List

Gambaro’s superb wine list features an array of imported, local and premium beers, white wines, vintage reds, champagnes, liqueurs, wines by the glass and much more.

Gambaros wine list is one of the largest and most extensive you will see, and there is something to complement every meal.

Be sure to look at the many vintage reds and expensive white wines available to purchase from the glass cabinet display as you enter the restaurant.
